Kloke ord fra Egypt

Opprørerne i Kairo har sendt sin solidaritet til resten av verden og om sin fortsatte kamp i Egypt hvor de blant annet skriver:
«In many ways we in Egypt are part of the same struggle, and we are watching in solidarity. Keep going, don’t stop, occupy more.» »
To all those across the world currently occupying parks, squares and other spaces, your comrades in Cairo are watching you in solidarity. Having received so much advice from you about transitioning to democracy, we thought it’s our turn to pass on some advice.»
«Our strength is in our shared struggle. If they stifle our resistance, the 1% will win – in Cairo, New York, London, Rome – everywhere. But while the revolution lives our imaginations knows no bounds. We can still create a world worth living.
Since the military junta took power, 12,000 of us have been tried by military courts. On October 9th, the Army massacred 28 of us at Maspero. The revolution is under attack, but we will continue to fight. You can help us defend our revolution.»
